BANKS!

Are you tired of feeling like the world is out of control, and that the only people who understand your frustration are  taxi drivers? Well I am!

Today I went shopping, a rare occurrence, done out of necessity, and driven by a desperate need to not be naked in public.
Oh yeah, and I had to go to the bank.

After completing my fast transaction, the kindly bank teller asked in a robotic manner, "is there anything else we can help you with?" (a glass of cold water I thought, a foot massage perhaps?).
I gave him a puzzled look as I imagined  which aromatherapy fragrance would suit my tired feet.
Then he added, "do you need financial services, could we offer you a home loan?"

Hang on a minute, is this Kentucky Fried? Or Maca's? Perhaps I'll have a supersized home loan, I live in Eastern Suburbs after all.
Gee, I thought, I might have considered that yesterday but the bank across the road stole my last $35 savings, Shit! now I have no deposit.

Lets just digress a minute... I just made a rather brash claim. That's right - I said "the bank across the road  STOLE my money".

I unwittingly allowed my ANZ account to become $22.00 overdrawn and got stung with a $35 fee.
Now as I recall, until a couple of years ago, money machines and eftpos transactions would DECLINE if you had insufficient funds.
I've been caught out quite a few times, it would happen only on weekends in the beginning. Then ANZ must have decided it was very profitable, so now it is policy.
They never decline a transaction.

I was told...    "if you want the bank to decline a request that will overdraw your account, you must request a RED FLAG ! on your account".
It never used to be that way I insisted, why wasn't I informed of the change?  you know,  sent something in the mail (other than an offer for another credit card).

"It's not our policy, you have to request it" I was told.
Request it? how can I request it if I've never been told of it's existence?

So I rang the Banking Ombudsman -  as you do.

And there aint a damn thing they can do!

Why? because the Banking industry is largely unregulated.

Speak to your local member of Parliament recommended the Ombudsman.

WHY WHY WHY is everyone too afraid to curtail this out-of-control, greedy, manipulative, underhanded industry? They own everything, they own the corporations, they own the policy makers, they control governments, the Think Tanks,  the UN..

Show me a politician who has the guts to stand up to them (oh yeah -RON PAUL)
Well show me one in Australia,   please!

And why do we need a Reserve Bank printing our Money out of nothing, then lending it back to us at interest? Who was Sir Robert Menzies? and why did he cave in to them as one of his final acts before leaving office in 1960?

Why are the only countries on Earth who haven't given in to the 'Banksters' by privatizing their banks and thereby giving up the right to print their own money (creating a Reserve Bank or Federal reserve as it is also known), called 'the AXIS of EVIL'?
They are North Korea, Cuba, Iran...
They stand in the way of a 'One World' economy, or WORLD DOMINATION.
